People worship in a variety of ways, reflecting their diverse cultures. If you prefer an informal, contemporary service or if you just want a change of pace, check out the Sunday morning Crossroads contemporary service at 11 a.m. in Fellowship Hall.
What is Crossroads?
Crossroads conveys the fundamental teachings of the Christian faith and celebrates the glory of God not only through the message of our ministers, but also through contemporary music, drama, video and, the first Sunday of each month, through the sacrament of Holy Communion.
The music is God-centered, Biblically based, and very singable. Katie Widing and the Crossroads Worship Team give their best to God and facilitate a casual, joyful atmosphere that lifts the spirit in praise and worship.
Crossroads Cafe
What happens when you take the Bible, great Christian music, some tasty breakfast treats and a host of actors, singers and dancers and put them all together in Fellowship Hall for one hour? Crossroads Café of course!
Periodically, Ed Spiker and his cast of thousands (known as the Fifth Avenue Players) transform Trinity’s contemporary Crossroads service into the Crossroads Café. The dramas are timely, sometimes humorous and (we hope) always thought provoking. We occasionally have other forms of dramatic arts.
We like to include special music—from traditional southern gospel to contemporary pop music—any musical style to help express that the Spirit of God is among us. And don’t forget the food—from bagels and cookies to homemade breads and muffins, juices and coffee—what better way to break bread on a Sunday morning?
Come share an hour with us at Crossroads, and have both your appetite and your soul nourished. |
