Financial contributions underwrite the ministries of Trinity Church and are crucial to the church's mission. The annual operating budget maintains everything from curriculum to utilities, from missions to salaries.
The church gratefully receives cash, checks, stocks, bonds, or other forms of gifts. Offerings may be given weekly, monthly, annually, or however the donor desires. Direct deposit is available and easily established.
Contact the Trinity Business Office for quick and easy details regarding ways to support the church. Phone 614.488.0695 and ask to speak to the business manager or a minister.
Trinity also has established the Trinity Foundation to provide funding for aspects of the ministry not covered by the annual operating budget. Gifts given to the Trinity Foundation are intended for long- term giving. The body of the gift is never touched; only the interest is used to support various ministries.
When a will or bequest is given to the church, if the donor's intention is for the gift to be used immediately, that should be noted by the donor or a family member or attorney. Otherwise, wills and bequests automatically are placed in the Trinity Foundation for long-term use.
The Trinity Foundation
The Foundation exists to provide funding for vital aspects of the Christian ministry of Trinity UMC that cannot normally be supported by the church’s annual operating budget.
Gifts to the Foundation may be made to honor living loved ones, or as a memorial to family or friends who have passed away. There also are many vehicles for participating in planned giving to the Foundation: Gifting the church a specific amount, a percentage of your estate or the remainder of your estate after other gifts have been made.
For information about the Foundation, contact Richard Weese at 488-0695.
