Music Programs Trinity Church offers many worship experiences as ways to draw closer to God. One of these ways is through beautiful music.
Chancel Choir The Adult Chancel Choir, directed by Prof. Mark Baker, Trinity’s Director of Music, presents sacred music during the Sunday traditional worship at 9 and 11 am. The choir rehearses Thursday evenings from 8 to 9:15 pm, and welcomes new persons who wish to come and be part of the fellowship. Once during Advent, and again during Lent, the Adult Chancel Choir presents entire worship services of sacred music appropriate to the season. These are much anticipated and enjoyed by all. If you’re interested in joining one of the choirs or music groups, please contact the music director, Prof. Mark Baker.
Bell Choirs The Chancel Bell Choir periodically presents music through the ringing of several octaves of hand bells owned by the church. The Chancel Bell Choir practices each Thursday from 6:45-7:50 pm and is open to those grade nine-adult.
Summer Music During summer months, soloists and small singing groups present beautiful music for the worship services on Sundays when the choirs do not sing.
Contemporary Music Crossroads Contemporary Band performs during the Crossroads worship service in Fellowship Hall each Sunday at 9 and 11 am. Praise and Worship Leaders direct the singers, guitarists, keyboardists and drummers, who provide an enthusiastic musical sound especially appreciated by many of Trinity’s younger members. If you’re interested in joining our Crossroads Contemporary Band, please contact Mindy Hayward.
Children’s Choir Children ages 4 through the 5th grade are invited to be a part of the choir. The children share their gift of music several times a year during our worship or special occasions. The Children’s Choir practices Wednesdays from 4:30-5:00 p.m.
