WHAT IS THE TRINITY FOUNDATION?
The purpose of the Foundation is to encourage and promote gifts that support and enhance the mission of Trinity United Methodist Church beyond what would be possible through the operating budget. Trinity’s mission is to bring hope through the transforming love of Jesus Christ.
WHO ADMINISTERS THE FOUNDATION?
A Board administers the affairs of the Foundation. The board consists of 12 members who serve three-year terms and the Senior Minister. Four members are elected annually by the Charge Conference. Board members may serve no more than two successive terms without at least one year between terms. One member of the board serves as chair. The chair is nominated by the Nominating Committee and elected by the Charge Conference on an annual basis. Board meetings are open to any Trinity member. Meeting minutes can be obtained upon request by church members from the church office. The Board makes regular reports to the Administrative Council and an annual report to the Charge Conference.
